Surrounded by endless waters
Waves thrashing about
Brings a feeling of insecurity
All feelings begin to well up inside
But my foundation holds strong
Continuing to stand
Firm in my faith
Releasing my fears into the depths of the sea
Water collapses around me
But still, my foundation holds strong
The waves die down
As do my insecurities and fears
Sun breaks through the opaque skies
Shining a new light upon life
Another storm has passed
Another hardship overcome
I continue on with life
Bobbing up and down in the uneven waters
But always standing strong
Without weakness
Holding my faith and strength high
So not even the wind can knock them down
Standing strong in the hard times
Finding a way through all hardships
A new light is shining
Storms clear when the sun begins to shine
We need to stand strong
Strong as the lighthouse that never falls
