Help determine the fate of the
protagonists in Mind Like Water's never ending story, The
Enormous Loom, by submitting the next installment! Follow
up
on prompts from the previous installment. Introduce new characters,
places or events. Write a paragraph or write an entire
chapter. You decide.
Simply write the next installment and e-mail it to us at
dino@mindlikewater.com
(please include first and last name, e-mail address, and title of
story, "The Enormous Loom"). We will review any entries received.
If we like one, that entry will be added to
"The Enormous Loom." (The number of the installment,
highlighted in pink, will appear in brackets at the beginning of
each installment. E.g., [1].)
Feel free to enter as many times
as you wish.
Aside from killing off our
protagonists Johnny Hammock and Natalie Savage or exhibiting
downright bad taste, we encourage creative freedom. Your entry
can include a photo or graphic. As a twist, we’ll
list three words (a noun, a verb and an adjective) on this
Instructions Page - one or more of which must appear in a particular installment.
Entries will be reviewed by Mind Like Water's Content Manager.
The author of the selected entry will be notified by
e-mail once the entry has been published.

Diane,
Thank you so much! I think that the idea of a
"never-ending story" such as The Enormous Loom is
an absolutely superb one, and it has been a real treat to
write the installment. The story gives each new writer
an exciting plot involving a wonderful variety of
characters, and gives each participant the chance to put
their own spin on the story. Thank you again! I
look forward to further developments in this tremendous
project!
